Points noted. Many thanks.

Thanks for that, I will increase the attenuation for a day or two and see how that goes. Would a MW filter be a good idea or not ?
-
I have set the attenuator to 10db to see what difference it makes. I don't know how overload shows up on the waterfall ? I had the loop in the garden for a good while, but there was just too much (smps?) interference, it has lessened now it's on th…

I am going to make a mains filter which may or may not help, I don't have enough battery packs to run everything on batteries to see if it makes any difference. My noise floor is about S5 - 7, but is it caused by the mains or not ?

Thank you for replying. I know I do have a lot of other RFI, but I have always read that linear power supplies are the 'quietest'.

That worked a treat thanks.

Thanks a lot, I will give that a go, hopefully it will work.

Yes, on my PC, which is on the same local network as my Kiwi. Before my router failed I was able to connect using 192.168.1 etc, but that isn't working now.

Yes, my router has played up, I shall be changing providers, so it might be off for a few days, unless I can sort something out.

Thanks for replying. I have tried again after many attempts and this time it has come up with " upload successful", but I have no idea why it worked this time. It is a jpeg, 525 X 350 pixels. Many thanks.

It has to be up on the roof to get away from so much electrical interference lower down, I thought it would be ok at the bottom of my 70ft garden but unfortunately my neighbours shed is close by and he has electricity and wi-fi etc in there, also ba…

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/20556#Comment_20556 I am now using a TP Link TL-WR802N and it has greatly reduced the interference, especially above 7Mhz. Many thanks all.

All sorted now ,thanks.

Ok thanks, point taken, this is all quite new to me.

It all seems fine now thanks.

Many thanks, there seems to be so much to look at with so many tabs on the admin page.

Yes, it is a genuine Apple charger, I read about not getting a clone.

Here are the details of the cable I bought: Cable Length: 1.5m/5ft; DC Plug: 5.5mm x 2.1mm/0.22x0.08inch; Conductor: 24AWG; Cable Diameter: 4mm/0.16 inch; Maximum current support: 3A; Voltage:15V; Maximum Watt:65W

I bought a USB-C to 5.5mm 2.1 from Amazon (5 foot long) looks like that is the problem then.

It is now but I think I did move it yesterday.

Many thanks, that worked fine. How would I have managed to turn it on in the first place though ?
